Site Engineer — Jeddah

A senior site-based role responsible for protecting the architectural intent of the project throughout construction. The Site Engineer will coordinate contractors and specialist trades, inspect executed work, verify compliance with approved drawings and specifications, identify discrepancies before they become defects, and maintain clear technical records for the Principal and project team.

Mandatory Requirements

• A minimum of five years of continuous, verifiable site experience on landmark, pioneering, or technically demanding projects. Routine residential supervision alone will not be considered sufficient.
• A bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering, civil engineering, or a directly related discipline from a recognized university.
• Demonstrated experience reviewing architectural, structural, MEP, and specialist-shop drawings and coordinating conflicts between disciplines before execution.
• Strong command of site inspections, material approvals, method statements, RFIs, snagging, quality control, progress reporting, and contractor follow-up.
• Previous responsibility on governmental, diplomatic, institutional, hospitality, high-end private, or similarly complex projects.
• Professional registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers, or immediate eligibility for registration.
• Fluent professional Arabic and strong working English, with the ability to issue precise written reports and formal site correspondence.
• Current residence in Jeddah or readiness to relocate immediately, a valid driving licence, and the ability to attend sites according to project requirements.
