IMK Renovation Interior Design

To restore a large-scale residential asset is not merely to update its aesthetics; it is to correct the structural and operational oversights of its original construction. Palatial architecture in the region has historically prioritized visual presence over lifecycle maintenance, resulting in massive structures that degrade rapidly due to poor environmental defense. The IMK Palace project was approached not as a cosmetic interior update, but as a comprehensive structural and operational recalibration.

The interior design of palace projects is a very interesting matter for our architectural team, and we have done a very organized and structural work for the previous restoration projects, which ensures the best performance. From the floor to the ceiling, we can extract a lot of information and data for restoration, we directly analyze the data to the engineering programs And BIM in order to calculate the best measure of the size of the building and engineering quantities, the study of costs is very important for the palace restoration project as well as for the palace interior design project

The intervention rejected subjective decorative decisions in favor of a data-driven methodology. Before any spatial reorganization occurred, the existing structure was fully mapped and integrated into Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. By extracting precise measurements from floor to ceiling, the architectural team established a rigorous cost-control framework and accurate engineering quantities. In projects of this scale, spatial logic must be subordinate to lifecycle economics; a successfully engineered residential building should incur annual maintenance costs of less than three percent of its total value.

The interior architecture was developed to resolve specific environmental failures inherent to the original layout. A critical zone of intervention was the indoor swimming area, a space that traditionally threatens the structural integrity of residential buildings through unregulated humidity. The design response integrated advanced moisture treatment protocols and highly durable tiling solutions, ensuring that the material palette served as a protective barrier rather than merely a visual finish.

When we build, we must design for permanence. The IMK Palace renovation demonstrates that true luxury in residential architecture is not found in applied ornamentation, but in the seamless integration of high-performance materials and intelligent engineering modeling. By prioritizing structural longevity and operational efficiency, the project aligns with the office’s rigorous standards for sustainability. The data-driven processes utilized to execute this level of restoration are detailed in how-we-work. For clients seeking comprehensive architectural intervention and lifecycle management for large-scale residential assets, the initiation framework is outlined in bespoke-architecture.
